Overview: The Red Bee Shrimp, a vibrant and striking variety of Neocaridina, boasts intense crimson hues that add a burst of color to any aquarium. Origin: Originally bred in Taiwan, these captivating shrimp are a result of selective breeding for their intense red coloration. They thrive in freshwater habitats with stable conditions. Feeding: Red Bee Shrimp are omnivorous, relishing in a varied diet that includes high-quality shrimp pellets, algae wafers, blanched vegetables like zucchini or spinach, and occasional treats such as bloodworms or brine shrimp. Tank Mates: Peaceful by nature, they coexist well with similarly docile tank mates like small fish (such as tetras or rasboras), dwarf shrimp species, and non-aggressive snails. However, avoid housing them with larger or aggressive fish that may prey on them. Aggression: Red Bee Shrimp are non-aggressive and tend to display minimal territorial behavior, making them excellent community members in a well-maintained aquarium. Experience Level: Suitable for aquarists of varying experience levels, these shrimp are relatively hardy and adaptable, requiring consistent water conditions and a well-established tank.
